Content Annotations
Annotations are post-its or comments placed on the content of documents. You can annotate documents as soon as you can access them, just select the text inside and put your comment. Annotations are really useful when you need to collaborate with other persons in your team and may be used to point the attention of your colleagues to specific parts of the document.Retention Policies
In LogicalDOC, the retention policies help organizations to manage documents lifecycle and reduce legal risks associated with documents and other materials. Retention policies make it easier to keep documents needed to comply with company policy, government regulations, or legal needs, and to remove content that has no legal or business value.
Archiving Document
The archiving feature is used those times you want to maintain old or obsoletete contents in your system but you don't want them to be accessible during normal operations. In LogicalDOC when a document is archived it continues to exist in the system but it is stored in a different area no more available during folder browsing or searches, this optimizes the performances.- For more information about the features of LogicalDOC 7.2, visit our Wiki.
