LogicalDOC Cloud Privacy Policy

This document describes the procedures for administering the LogicalDOC Cloud service in reference to the processing of personal data of users and customers. This notice is given to art. 13 of Legislative Decree. No 196/2003 - Code for the protection of personal data to those who interact with the LogicalDOC Cloud service.
The information is also based on Recommendation 2 / 2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data gathered in the group founded by. 29 of Directive 95/46, adopted on May 17 2001 to determine the minimum requirements for collecting personal data on-line, and, in particular, the manner, timing and nature of the information that the holders of treatment should provide users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.


THE OWNER OF TREATMENT

After the sign of a LogicalDOC Cloud purchase contract, it may be processed data on persons identified or identifiable. The "owner" of their treatment is LogicalDOC Srl which is based in Carpi (Italy), via Aldo Moro interna 3.

 

TREATED DATA TYPES

Navigation data

Computer systems and software for the functioning of the service acquire during their normal exercise, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet. This information is not collected to be associated with identified, but by their very nature could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, identify users. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the service, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the resources required, the time of the request, the method used to make the request to the server, the size of files obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters relating to the operating system and computer environment. This data is used only to obtain anonymous statistics on the use of the service and to check the proper operation and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical crimes against the site: beyond that eventuality, data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary e-mail to addresses listed on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed in the pages of the site designated for special services on request.

 

COOKIES

No personal user data is acquired from the service. There is not any use of cookies for the transmission of personal information, nor are used cd persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracing users. The use of c.d. session cookies (which are not stored in a user's computer and vanish with the closing of the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable a secure and efficiency on the site. I c.d. session cookies used in this site do not make use of other techniques potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of navigation and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification information of the user.

DOCUMENTS

The LogicalDOC Cloud service, it it's nature stores a lot of documents and therefore confidential data in a protected database. LogicalDOC assure to not access these informations, and to not redistribute any document of the customers databases.  LogicalDOC reserve the possibility to access the database if it is needed by maintenance activities, but in any case the documents content will not be accessed.

OPTIONAL GRANT OF DATA

Apart from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data reported in the application forms to the Guarantor or in contact with the office to request the sending of information materials or other communications. Their failure, it may be impossible to fulfill the request. For completeness it should be noted that in some cases (not object of the management of this site) the Authority may ask for news and information under Article 157 of Legislative Decree. No 196/2003, in order to control the processing of personal data. In these cases the answer is a mandatory penalty of administrative sanction.

TREATMENT METHOD

Personal data are processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, misuse or incorrect and unauthorized access.

RIGHTS OF CONCERNED

Those whose personal data have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence of the data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or upgrade, or correction (Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003). Under that article, one has the right to request cancellation, transformation in anonymous form or block of data used in violation of the law, as well as object, for legitimate reasons, to their treatment.
