A custom action represents a new menu item that appears in the context menu of the document and folder. The purpose is to give you the opportunity to create new commands that can be chosen by your users to take actions specific to your way to work.
You can program what happens when a user clicks on a specific custom action.
Benefits of this feature
Programmatically define how each custom menu will react to user clicks
Makes it easy the invocation of an external program from within LogicalDOC
You can use the Automation language to program the custom action
Use security policies on users and/or groups to restrict the visibility of each custom action
